COMIC BOOK MONTH RETURNS!

Hey, wait, didn’t we already do a Comic Book Month just last year?

Logan and X-23.

Why, yes. Yes we did. While we try to spread out the theme months to offer a fresh selection every time, this year there’s just too much going on in the world of comics to let it pass without recognition. Firstly, there’s the first-ever big screen adaptation of Wonder Woman on June 2nd, and the much-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Spider-Man on June 7th. Then, we had Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart’s respective X-Men swansongs in Logan back in March, which was also the month that put Ghost in the Shell back into the public consciousness (for better or worse). The Smurfs returned to theaters in a rebooted franchise in April. Let’s not forget the slew of sequels including Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League. And that’s just the movies!

Cinematic Justice League.

This month, we’ll be focusing on more comics outside of the Big Two (we’ll get back to them soon enough, don’t worry) that Hollywood saw fit to adapt into a Saturday Morning cartoon. So, pull out that secret stash of comics you don’t want anyone to know about—this month, EVERYONE is a comic fan!
