He was a character designer for ¡Mucha Lucha!, Legion of Super Heroes, Transformers: Animated, the New Teen Titans shorts on DC Nation, Ben 10: Omniverse and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles short, Half-Shell Heroes: Blast to the Past. He was also the art director for Transformers and Ben 10, a storyboard artist for The Ripping Friends, and provided additional design and color for Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

He co-created the DC Comics character and world of Amethyst, Princess of Gem World who was adapted into in a series of short episodes as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network. He also provided artwork for the Saturday morning-based comics Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice in the Neitherworld, Bullwinkle and Rocky (Marvel) #1-9, Mighty Mouse (1990) #1-5, 7 & 9, Scooby-Doo (1997) #2, 4, 6 & 8, Scooby-Doo Spooky Spectacular and Star Wars: Droids (1986) #6-8.

STEVE DITKO DEAD AT 90

Ditko was an artist and writer that worked in comics. He was one of the architects for the original Marvel Comics universe, co-creating Spider-Man and Dr. Strange and their worlds, as well as the Hulk's Glenn Talbot. He also created The Creeper and Shade the Changing Man for rival DC Comics. Many of these characters would be used in various media adaptations over the years, especially on Saturday mornings. Ditko's later career involved a lot of licensed work, amongst which included several issues of Marvel's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic.
